Implementing the joint resolution between the Vietnam Medical Association (VMA) and the Ministry of Health on communication, advocacy, protection, care, and improvement of public health, the Vietnam Medical Association and the Ministry of Health are organizing a series of specialized training workshops titled “Detection and Management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Vietnam”.
The training program is organized to update and enhance diagnostic and treatment skills for several NCDs for medical professionals, staff, and VMA members.
I. TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the program is to provide specialized solutions and guidelines:
- Providing guidelines on solutions for the early management of non-communicable diseases.
- Providing advanced treatment guidelines for Hypertension and Diabetes.
- Consulting and providing guidance on dietary regimes and care for specific non-communicable diseases.

- In Cao Bang: November 19, 2025
- In Lang Son: December 02, 2025
III. PARTICIPANTS
The expected attendance is 200 – 250 delegates per province, including:
- Leaders of the Department of Health, CDC, and public/private hospitals and clinics at the district level.
- Doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from public and private hospitals.
- Staff from public and private health centers and clinics.
- Representatives of military medical units stationed in the province.
- Leaders of the provincial Medical and Pharmaceutical Association.
