The Lunar New Year is a period of increased trade, travel, and community activities. It is also a time that poses many potential risks of injury in daily life. To enhance response and prevention capacities, the Center for Support and Continuing Education, under the Vietnam Medical Association, is organizing a professional training session to launch the 2026 training series.
Detailed Schedule Information
The program will be held online to facilitate the participation of trainees. Colleagues are requested to note the following schedule:
* Date: February 7, 2026.
* Time: From 08:00 to 12:00.
Objectives and Significance of the Training Program
Injuries are physical damages to the human body caused by external factors. In the context of a long public holiday, early identification of risks is extremely important. The program is designed to provide accurate knowledge, helping medical staff and the community become more proactive in protecting their own health and that of their families.
Key Content of the Training Session
The training program will focus on three main areas of knowledge, closely following current guidelines from the Ministry of Health:
* Concepts and definitions of injuries: Provides a systematic view of injury classification, including intentional and unintentional injuries, helping learners master the theoretical foundation.
* Common types of accidents during the Lunar New Year: Analyzes typical situations such as traffic accidents, food poisoning, burns from explosions or fires, and domestic incidents.
* Basic prevention solutions: Guides on-site first aid procedures and proactive preventive measures to minimize risks and the severity of injuries.
